David Combs is one of the best DJs that we have encountered at any event. He was willing and able to accommodate any request we had for music, being responsible for both our wedding ceremony and reception. We chose Austin Wedding DJ because we had been told that David Combs had a knack for reading a crowd, and we were not disappointed. He had people on the dance floor all night! David also has a great way of working the crowd and keeping the event moving with announcements highlighting the next portion of the event (i.e. cake cut, bouquet toss, etc.). David was the most professional, responsive, and outright funniest person I have ever worked with. My wife and I lived in Houston at the time and you can imagine how hard it is to find wedding DJ’s when living out of the Austin area. We came across David online and what an amazing find! His price was about half of what most DJ’s charged in the area which made us a little skeptical, but when it was all said and done we would have gladly paid double! When David first met with us my wife wanted to cancel all other interviews we had made for that day. He was great in every way! He got the party started from the minute our guests walked in and they didn’t leave the dance floor until they were turning on the lights for everyone to leave. He was very professional with all announcements, introductions, and keeping a tight schedule with all necessary speeches, cake cuttings, and dances.
